At Cooper James Co, we believe what you bring into your home matters. That belief is what inspired every candle we create.

As a pediatric nurse practitioner, mother of two, and owner of two golden retrievers, I spent years searching for home fragrance that felt both elevated and thoughtfully made. I loved candles, but often found myself questioning the ingredients, fragrance quality, and overall burn of many products on the market.

I wanted something that filled a room beautifully without feeling overwhelming, and something I felt comfortable burning in the home I share with my family.

So I started creating my own.
