At Cooper James Co, we believe what you bring into your home matters.

As a pediatric nurse practitioner, mother of two, and dog owner, I spent years searching for home fragrance that felt both elevated and thoughtfully made. I loved candles, but I often found myself questioning the ingredients, fragrance quality, and overall burn performance of many products on the market.

I wanted something that filled a room beautifully without feeling overwhelming and something I felt comfortable burning in the home I share with my family.

So I started creating my own.

Cooper James Co was founded on the belief that luxury and thoughtful ingredients should go hand in hand. Every candle is designed to deliver a sophisticated fragrance, exceptional performance, and a beautiful experience from the first burn to the last.

Hand-poured in small batches in Chicago, every candle is crafted using premium coconut apricot crème wax and carefully selected fragrance oils that are phthalate-free, vegan, cruelty-free, and designed to provide a clean, even burn.

Inspired by Chicago's neighborhoods, lakefront, and changing seasons, each fragrance is created to capture a feeling rather than simply a scent. From fresh citrus kitchens to warm, inviting living spaces, every collection is designed to become part of the moments that make a house feel like home.
